There’s always a pause before someone walks away—the kind that feels loud in its silence. I painted this figure with bold edges and soft intentions, letting the greens bleed around him like memory. His posture felt familiar to me, like someone caught in a thought mid-step. I wanted to leave just enough space for the viewer to follow, or not.
