This male figure with plant art print grew out of a quiet moment in the studio when I started thinking about care. Not the loud kind of care that asks for attention, but the quieter kind that shows up every day and keeps something alive.
I imagined someone holding a plant the way you might hold something fragile and full of promise. Watering it, moving it into the light, watching it slowly stretch and change. Growth rarely happens all at once. It happens a little at a time, almost without us noticing.
That feeling stayed with me while painting this piece. The idea that tending something living also changes the person holding it. Patience, attention, and time slowly shaping both.

About This Print
This is a giclée fine art print of an original watercolor painting, produced on Somerset Velvet fine art paper using archival pigment inks.

Sizing & Framing
Every print includes a white border so it fits directly into a standard same size frame with no mat required. A 12x16 print fits a 12x16 frame, a 16x20 fits a 16x20, and so on through every size. The border gives the print a clean, gallery style edge inside the frame and saves you the cost of a mat.
If you are unsure which size works best for your space, a good rule of thumb is to choose a print that fills roughly two thirds of the wall space above your furniture.
