I painted Picasso not as the icon, but as a man—aged, thoughtful, maybe even a little softened. There’s something about his expression here that felt more human than historic. I kept the palette light and the lines loose, letting the paint wander like memory. It's less about who he was and more about how he lingered in the room that day, at least in my mind.
