These are the paintings where I stopped worrying about restraint. Bold flat color, figures that own the space they stand in, pattern and decoration treated as seriously as anything else. Some of these pieces made me laugh while I was making them. That felt like the right sign to keep going.
Not everything has to be serious. This collection is proof of that.
